The Jazz Cave was host to a special weekend "Snap on 2&4" with the Beegie Adair Trio. With more than 30 CD's to her credit over her long career in Nashville, this was Beegie's first live recording. Drummer Ed Thigpen passed away on Wednesday, January 13. He was one of the greatest drummers of all time, and a special friend to the Jazz Workshop. We were fortunate to have him for a special concert and clinic in 2006. It was a magical experience for all concerned, and a once in a lifetime experience for Lori and Roger. The last NJW class session of the year begins Monday, November 10. There's still room in many of the classes.Of special note is a class for drummers to be taught by Chester Thompson: It's About Time.
