Drummer Ed Thigpen passed away on Wednesday, January 13. He was one of the greatest drummers of all time, and a special friend to the Jazz Workshop. We were fortunate to have him for a special concert and clinic in 2006. It was a magical experience for all concerned, and a once in a lifetime experience for Lori and Roger.
